Product Manager just told me all software engineers will be replaced by AI /u/Sawoleszz CSCQ protests reddit

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. For context, my manager doesn’t even have a degree in anything technical. Just some business degree. He has this weird obsession with AI. Having trouble fixing a bug? Ask AI. Having trouble understanding code? Ask AI. He treats AI as some God that can fix every issue know to mankind. What I thought was going to be a meeting about some job jars turned into a rant about how software engineers, including me, will be replaced by AI and not that far in the future. He even referenced that one video of the Nvidia ceo saying that AI will replace developers. I thought people like this only existed online and weren’t apart of the work space. I might need to look for another job lol.
