I’m a self taught developer and use Laravel (PHP) and React (javascript) as my main stack.
My degree is in Maths and Statistics, but in all honesty I have hardly used any of it in 15 years, so I’m going to be rusty.
I’m wanting to get back into data. I deal with a lot of CSV’s in my day job, and I would quite like to take some of the datasets and start some inference/analysis and modelling with it.
I didn’t do any Python at university, some R and SPSS, with a bit of MatLab at the end.
I’ve bought the Python Crash Course (3rd Edition), and from there I’m thinking that NumPy is likely the best option.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
