So in my previous post I was looking for opinions on what’s the best value merino wool crewneck sweater. I ended up picking up BRs because there was a sale, got it for like $55. Come to find out just like the BR factory ones, the BR one is also very thin. Same situation at untuckit, its very thin. I must be looking into the wrong brands. I want something that thick and can actually keep my warm outside in frigid temperatures. However, i still want it to not overheat me when I wear it indoors (hence why i am going with merino wool over cashmere). I guess a midweight sweater is what i should be looking for? (assuming the BR one is a lightweight sweater, its not labeled as one so idk). I’m willing to pay up to around $200 if need be, as long as the quality is there to justify the price. I also don’t mind looking into buying second hand if the retail is too ridiculously priced. Based on all that, which are the very best brands i should look into for my criteria. thanks
