Feelings of shame exploring prostate massage /u/hailtothechimp-1 Sex

hetero male in my late 30s. In something of a dead bedroom marriage. I heard about the Aneros and prostate orgasms around 2 years ago and have gradually became more interested in experimenting with achieving this, so just before Christmas I bit the bullet and ordered an Aneros (helix syn Trident). Whilst I have always thought of myself as open minded and sex-positive, I have been surprised to find that I am having feelings of shame and embarrassment at using a toy which is in my ass. When I’m looking on reddit for information on using the aneros I do find a large proportion are gay men or people with a kink for wearing women’s clothes and such and for whatever reason this also makes me feel a bit weird. Just to clarify, I have absolutely no negative judgement to anyone gay/bi or having kinks, but I clearly have some subconscious hangups. I’m wondering if anyone here has struggled with similar weirdness.
