As a forever DM, that short sentence just resonates with me a lot and I love when my players present out-of-the-box takes using the basics provided by the books – Its basically the definition of “getting creative” with the presented themes of a class, item, weapon… pretty much anything, as long as it doesnt change the mechanics.
Currently Im in the process of figuring out a flavorful weapon choice for a agility-based paladin with an unconventional fighting style… and that got me thinking about the hundreds of other options people could have come across so far.
So, what are your favorite examples of reflavoring something that you played, played along side with or heard about? Every table is different after all, so I’d love to hear what concepts just stick with you.
