So, I got a friend at work who’s husband just got into D&D and he told me that he tried playing a game with his family and he couldn’t understand it. He felt like really stressed. And his wife told him that I’m a nerd and do that shit😂.
Anyways, I would like to welcome them to D&D with a very rule light session. I would also like to give them a companion to care about. Only to have them be the main bad. I’ve never done this to any of my players so any pointers would help.
Would this be evil of me to do to brand new players?
