If America no longer pays it’s workers well and people aren’t invested in what they do, why buy American? /u/J0E_Blow No such thing as stupid questions

The assumption with Made in America used to be that you were helping someone afford a decent quality of life which ensured a hardworking, honset American created a quality product for you, one ideally utilizing crasftmenship.

If we no longer take care of our workers and no longer pay them a good living wage that ensures a good work ethic- why buy or vaunt Made in America?
