Hello,
I have texture sensitivity. Although I love the aesthetic of nice clothes (sweaters, pants, etc…), I am stuck wearing clothes that aren’t the most aesthetically pleasing (sweatpants, loose clothes). Recently, I have been told that I should be wearing better clothes because I look bad. Even loose clothes have started to bother me recently after loosing weight because they get pulled down and feel as if they are suffocating by neck. Tight clothes on the other hand also bother my neck, shoulders, and waist area.
Today, I realized that I can wear smaller sizes in night-suit material (polyester or poly-cotton blends) without feeling what I feel with daytime clothes. Does anyone know of daytime clothes that feel like nighttime ones? Bonus points if they can also be warm enough for a Canadian winter with out too many layers because layers also bother me. Maybe even “nicer” clothes like sweaters. It’s strange because my daytime clothes are poly or poly-cotton blends yet feel different – but, I assume they are made of different kinds of polyester or different weaving techniques? On the other hand, do you know of any clothes that are texture sensitivity friendly?
Other things that limit my choices are extra sensitivity to wool and fleece products which make my skin itchy.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙂
