For those who are on the job search and have a less than marketable or non modern tech stack how are you selling yourself during interviews or even just on your resume. My career has left me with a tech stack and skills that don’t seem to be that useful when it comes to finding a new job as from what I see the majority of jobs right now are web based and require multiple technologies I’ve never touched professionally. Things like working with apis, front end frameworks, etc. even for roles titled just software engineer and not front end or full stack these seem to be expected these days. My previous experience has basically just been using Python to write features for an preexisting code base and occasionally doing some basic SQL stuff or light AWS work. Any advice?
