Hi everyone,
I’m working on a football analysis project and am looking to extract .json files for Premier League games from WhoScored. I’m particularly interested in match data, such as player stats, team performance metrics, and any other details available in those files.
Unfortunately, I’m not entirely sure how to go about creating a script for this myself. I know scraping data from WhoScored can be tricky due to their site setup, so I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this or could help me create a script for it.
I’m open to Python-based solutions, as that’s the language I’m currently using for my project. Any tips, resources, or direct help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
