Was a long slug but as a Frost Mage at 618ilvl was easily doable once you figure out the mechanics. I slowly implemented the following as I figured out what was messing me up or what I needed to focus on. A few things that made each run a bit easier once implemented:
The following WA was helpful for me as well – https://wago.io/OVBa5tA5C I did change the alert for the “kill egg” warning to something a little more visible (I made it a big egg in the middle of my screen so i could see it better) because I’d seem to lose it Overall it was a cool fight, hopefully you guys get it too without as much repair costs as me. Once you figure it out its smooth sailing. I did ?? before I did ? difficulty and when i went back to do ?, it was a laugh. Half the spells and only 1 phase so I wouldn’t really bother until you’ve done ??, it will just give you a false sense of hope. A few things that made each run a bit easier once implemented: Scouts March Enchant (Boots +Speed) Chant of Armored Speed (Bracers +Speed) With the above enchants, it made it a lot easier to move out of pool’s and AoE smash. don’t keep your distance, as it makes it harder to move out of the way of Zekvir’s cone frontal attack. Energized Barriers Talent – Removes Enfeebling Spittle DoT when you pop one of your barriers. Only interrupt Zekvir’s heals (Regenerating Carapace and Blood Infused Carapace). You’ll have your Counterspell back in time before you need to use it again. PRIORITISE Web Terror Cocoon when it’s up. This is the only DPS check in the fight; all you need to do is kill it before it hatches. I ended up saving my Frozen Orb, Instant cast Blizzard and Comet Storm for it to knock out over half of it’s HP quickly so I could focus on staying out of circles, smashes and lines. On the second phase, Zekvir also puts out some portals that will pass the web he shoots out between them. do not sit between these portals. If you’re lucky you can use Mass Barrier and sometimes save yourself if you do get the timing right just before you get sucked in. Remember to save your barrier for Enfeebling Spittle, you can get it a charge back with Cold Snap. Brann’s ability 30 Yards of Rope can assist in removing the Enfeebling Spittle whenever its on cooldown but not always reliable if Brann is feared or it’s on cooldown.
