Masters or Bachelors or Other as an Australian looking to get into CS /u/ok2354 CSCQ protests reddit

Background: 22 y/o pharmacist (BPharm paid off no HECs), did a Masters in Public Health (free), work in research and community pharmacy, also did a dip in clinical coding but that’s not actually “coding” and also do some work in that. I have the option to do a PhD but also interested in CS as I’d like to go more into health tech sorta fields and ideally WFH roles. My main job is research/trial pharmacist (92k/year) which is mostly WFH and I get to study a lot. I know some colleagues have a CS postgrad background whilst a healthcare undergrad because they specifically work on databases and creating models/apps for hospitals as part of their PhD and postdocs whereas I’m in clinical drug trials. But an area I’d be interested would be similar but more so databases for drug orders within hospitals rather than typical focus on falls, fractures, etc. Boyfriend did a bachelors in CS but got into med school so never got to work in CS lol.

So I can do the following CSP online options (only interested in online/CSP): – QUT’s Masters of Information Technology (Computer Science) which would be around ~9,400 AUD – UNE’s Master of Computer Science which is also around ~8,897 AUD

There’s also the option to do OMSCS $8,000 USD (~13,000 AUD). Not sure if I meet the requirements for that and how difficult that would be. Seems like it’s more full on compared to Australian degrees.

There’s also Undergraduate Advanced Diploma in IT Systems Analysis and Design at Oxford (~11,100 AUD).

I’m looking into starting Harvard CS50 and CS50P before I do anything.

From past posts seems like people do the grad dip / masters at UNE. Similar to posters on this post https://www.reddit.com/r/cscareerquestionsOCE/s/h3uBOeGTj7 I have a similar situation

Any advice? What degree/masters would be best?
