This is mainly regarding CS, but other games with pricey items may benefit.
I’ve been thinking lately, and as I barely do any trading (I buy skins to use, when I get tired of them, I sell them) why doesn’t Valve apply another failsafe against API scams? I’d more than gladly intentionally lock my items (let’s say, for 2 days, 3 maybe?) and it couldn’t be lifted at all.
I understand it could generate issues with players locking them by mistake, but hey, it’s 2 days. Maybe you could unlock it with some basic KYC and facial recognition or some shit? I don’t know.
I don’t click anything and I’m extremely careful, but these days one can’t be too sure. What do you guys think?
