I am 5’11 and weigh around 180 lbs. I recently bought two leather jackets (pics here: https://imgur.com/a/y9qlqsf)
One is a dark chocolate brown, made by Frye in Mexico (pics 1-3). I paid around $260 for it (was on sale at Nordstroms). Normally I wear a medium but this is a large (it’s all they had left). The leather feels very soft and supple but is clearly not as high quality as on the other jacket. There are noticeable differences in the colors of the various panels of the jacket (see 3rd pic), which disappointed me. On the other hand, for $260 maybe this isn’t so bad?
The other is a whiskey brown made by Officine Generale from Italian leather and sewn in Portugal (pics 4-5). The leather quality is superb, but on the other hand I paid about $800 for it, which is a huge investment for me. What do you guys think?
