Is it normal for a £160 Ralph Lauren sweatshirt to be made of ‘66% cotton, 34% polyester’? I never buy high-end pieces, was gifted this, but presumed it should be 100% cotton due to price (and maybe brand?)? /u/Mumford_and_Dragons /r/malefashionadvice

This is the item in question.
Gifted as a B’day present and realised it is made of ‘Shell: 66% cotton, 34% polyester’.
It feels nice, albeit somewhat like a dry-ex/ sportswear/smooth type of feel (I guess as it’s not 100% cotton?). It’s defo not RL’s sportswear- range.

But for the price, and the brand, I presumed it would/should be made of 100% cotton.
Does anyone have more thoughts/insight into this, and is it normal with high-end pieces to be made of this material mix?
