I got lucky to hear back from a major US bank for a devops position. Issue is the bank calls all their devops engineers software engineers so now I have to take an online assessment for programming and data structures and algorithms.
I never use DSA for my current job, let alone any real programming and now have to some how pass a coding assessment.
I feel like regardless I’m going to fail the assessment so want to use online resources to attempt to pass.
I know, not very ethical but feel like it’s a bit of an unfair way to assess candidates.
Even the recruiter acknowledged that I’m somewhat cookedðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Anyone else been in the same boat?
