You bring a powerful villain with solid backstory and motivation to fight against the players. The players might be dead if they don’t properly plan against him. The villain spokes his words to the players but the players mock the villains dialogue even though it’s a serious dialogue. This kinda break the atmosphere and the setup I have build for the fight.(Yes the villain almost ended their lives with only two players still standing among 6). But the mockery of the dialogue just breaks the vibe for me. I know the players can do it but still their characters hearing the rumors and the feats the villain has done should make their characters feel a little bit scared. What should I do?
