Could I dye dirty spots on the coat? /u/ThisIsBasic /r/malefashionadvice

I thrifted a grey peacoat and it has some dirty spots. I went to the dry cleaners and they only partially faded the spots. Then I tried mixing lukewarm water with vinegar at home and that only worked a little. The spots are still there and visible. Is there a way I could dye the dirty spots at home to the grey melange color of the coat? Its 80/20 wool/nylon.

Is there any other advice you could give me how to fix it?
