I was wondering why we often wear black during the winter, it turns out, black color absorb light making us feel warmer, and on the other hand, people with darker skin tone are more adapted to warmer climates, more protected from UV rays, etc.
So on paper it seems that darker skin is adapted for both hot and cold environment, but reality says otherwise, why is that? in fact, i think it should be the opposite, lighter skin in warmer environments to reflect heat, and darker skin in cold environments for absorbing heat.
