When did you have “enough” of this game? /u/DizzyTennis7857 Monster Hunter: World

When was the point reached when you were fully satisfied with your game experience, ready to lay the controller down?

Some people seem to have a never ending thirst for this game, slaying thousands of the same monster, some are done after completing the storyline.

Me personally, I think I have reached the point of satisfaction at MR 260, 400 hours in.

I got pretty good at 2 weapons, SnS and Lance (nowhere near speedrunner level obviously), I have the best gear and augments apart from super optimized gems, and I can solo Fatalis and AT velk, and ive grinded the layered armors I wanted. Most monster I have “only” killed 10-30 times, apart from my favourites Alatreon and Nergi (and Teo for deco farming) and I have done quite a few SOS flares to pass the time and help new players.

Now I have finally reached the point where I have decided for myself to put this game to rest. I dont have the motivation for getting perfectionist about my endgame content fights, learning new weapons, super maximising my gear, starting a new run or even just to keep playing for the sake of it.

I have played Tri before World, back then I was a kid, and sunk over 1600 hours into base tri (for those of you who dont know, that game has like 10 monsters). Iceborne was an amazing time, but I’m fully satisfied, ready to end it here, saving up for a PS5 until march comes around.

I’d love to hear your experiences
