Help on deciding which winter jacket to get: expensive or economically friendly? /u/Zealousideal-Cow6626 /r/malefashionadvice

I have been debating on whether to invest in a expensive brand or a highly discounted coat. I was watching a video and it hit me because it says “don’t buy the name, buy the filling of the coat.” Here are my two options:

Good brand and warmth wise is 750 Fill Power 14 oz. Recycled Down
90% Down, 10% Feather. On sale for $350 but with military discount of 15% off, it’ll be about $300 with one year warranty. Half the price of canada goose.

This is more of a fashion brand but the warmth is Shell and lining: 100% polyester; fill: 50% down and feathers (90% down 10% waterfowl feathers)/50% polyester. Currently on sale and after promo code, it’ll be $120.
