Astroglide X silicone lube is not compatible with Skyn condoms? /u/Street-Equivalent-79 Sex

Hi guys! I recently purchased Astroglide X silicone lube but did not realize it said it was “not compatible with polyisoprene and polyurethane condoms”.

My bf and I use Skyn condoms which are made with polyisoprene. However, Skyn condoms can be used with either water or silicone-based lube (according to their website).

Is there a reason why Astroglide X silicone lube specifically isn’t compatible? Does it have some kind of extra ingredient that breaks down polyisoprene and polyurethane? We used them together already so should we be concerned?
