Why don’t medically induced weight-loss comas exist? Where you can pay a fee and sleep for 90 days and wake up at your ideal bodyweight? /u/SanguinarianPhoenix No such thing as stupid questions

If I recall correctly, there was a prominent Canadian youtuber who got addicted to Benzos and traveled to a country where a medically induced coma was performed to undergo rapid benzo detox, but I think it was only for 1 week or maybe 10 days.

I’m guessing that longer duration medically induced comas are too unsafe? And that the longer the person is under sedation, the less likely they are to ever wake back up?
