People have been speculating that we are GDP focused because Minister’s package depends on our GDP. Are we growing too fast that we leave people behind?
Can we afford to not grow so fast? The global economy is on a march, should our government have impeded the growth? Or should we ride the wave along with the global economy?
Seems like Covid-19 saw the Computer Science batch size in Universities increase but 4 years later, the emphasis is on AI. Do you recall a biotech hub? An accounting hub? What about an Intellectual Property hub?
What are your thoughts? Are we growing too fast and we leave people behind? Or we’re growing at the right pace which means there are as many winners as there as losers. Many people who lost their jobs from Industrialisation 4.0 became blue collar class, grab or security guards. But at the same time, young graduates benefit from this tech boom.
