Suit for a short fat guy? I’m getting married in 4 months. /u/BingoNotBluey /r/malefashionadvice

I’m 5’6” (167cm) weighing 260lbs (117kg). I wear pant sizes of 38×30 and mostly wear XL shirts. I’m looking to buy a suit for my event.

Clearly I have non standard proportions that make OTR + tailoring difficult. I’ve had 3 separate sports coats from MW that were OTR and was tailored horribly in the past.

Doing a bit of digging, I see that there is a Made-to-Measure option stores do (not sure if MW has this option and not sure why they never mentioned it to me). With a bit of trauma from past experiences, I have a question that may be a bit silly.

Will MTM places be able to customize to my wide, big, and short body proportions? I’m built like a short Samoan.
