Who can bathe kids? /u/Vast_Meal_5990 No such thing as stupid questions

Here’s the set up. We are grandparents to our son’s girlfriend’s children. They spend the night with us often. And when they do, my wife generally bathes them.

For what ever reason, I started thinking about people being upset at men bathing children and it stuck with me. Even I would be upset (don’t know why) if my ex wife would have gotten remarried and her new husband bathed our girls (when they were toddlers). But why?

No one bats an eye when the woman bathes either boys or girls, but it seems taboo (or at least on the surface) for men to bathe children. And let me preface to say grandpas, uncles and stepparents. Not just random men.

I know there are a ton of sickos out there, but they’re not just men.

Just a thought I had last night, what say you?
