TLDR: Does anyone know where I can commission a quality tuxedo with a completely custom pattern in the fabric?
I already have a midnight blue tuxedo, but I would like to acquire another tuxedo for certain special occasions (I wear tuxedos a lot). I’d like to customize the tuxedo to have a custom exterior fabric with a custom pattern. I’m not looking for a screen printed, gimmicky tux. I’m looking for something that looks relatively traditional at a glance but then upon closer inspection reveals interesting and unique details. Here’s an example: https://imgur.com/a/qUYntcT (But instead of the swirls, I would like to dictate what the design is, or at least a few elements of the design). To give you another example of what I’m going for… If I was a world traveler and going to an international travel event, I might want the tuxedo’s fabric to be embroidered (stitched?) with famous landmarks. So instead of the random purple swirls in the attached image, it’d be the Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, etc in the same type of stitching.
I would like to keep the price under $3k, but please let me know if the only option would be to pay more.
Does anyone know where I could go to commission such a piece?
