hello! im going to join a campaign in two weeks and im very nervous… the only contact i have with the dnd mechanics is with bg3; my fellow players are helping me but im still scared of making some massive mistake im more worried about character creation than anything. im skilled in character creation as i have over 200 ocs, but i never roleplayed as one nor created one for a ttrpg. im creating 5 characters and letting the DM pick which fits the best but im still so scared so any tips on what to avoid would be great ;; ik the basics like not creating an overpowered character and all but anything else would be grand – even if you think it’s obvious id love to hear your tips, tysm
