Sharing my story incase anyone has the same issues. All steam games where stuttering, skipping, lagging for me and i was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why. Found a solution for me. /u/itstheFREEDOM Steam on Reddit

I uninstalled, reinstalled steam, Cleaned out all my cookies and cashes…Tested my drivers. up to date. Did a disk clean up…did an anti-virus, malware test. turned off all power saving settings. Disabled firewalls. CPU Temps where fine, Disk usage, Ram, memory usage where all fine. nothing worked. These where all the suggestions that the internet provided when attempting to search up my issue.

It was Firefox being open that caused my Stuttering in steam games.

I almost always have a browser open when gaming. Going on and off a game to browser. I went through some firefox settings and i THINK it was hardware acceleration that was causing it. I turned it off and stuttering stopped. I occasionally still got some stutterings in hi density areas of my steam games. However closing my browser completely fixes the problem.

Im making this post because..i dont see this type of issue anywhere else. Surely i wont be the only one to have this issue. So i hope this post helps others.
