I had recently discovered that MHW has a huge modding community and I wanted to go download some texture mods to spice things up a bit (e.g. layered armor and other cosmetics.). I went over to ‘Nexus’ and picked a few mods I thought would be nice but when I downloaded the mods and added them to the game files nothing changed when I started up the game. Just for clarification and extra details I downloaded “Stracker’s Loader” and added the unzipped files to the game files (PC>Local Disk>Program Files(x86)>steam>steamapps>common>monster hunter world) along with the other mods and verified them on the steam library but it didn’t seem to do anything when I ran the game.
