Is it worth to push for my BS or is my AS + experience enough? /u/OptimalAlgae9112 CSCQ protests reddit

Right now I’m about a year out from finishing my AS in Network Administration and I work full time as a tech support lead for a 3rd party computer part company. With work I deal with mainly hardware stuff but have leaning into more software/configuration help on servers / switches / ONTs and I’ve been at this company for 4 years. With school I’ve been able to, so far, obtain my A+ and Network+; I should also be able to get my Security+, Linux+/LPIC, CCNA etc etc.

What I’m wondering is is it worth it, at least for the next 5 years, to push for a BS in comp. sci. or electrical engineering? I’m honestly getting burnt out with my job and would very much like to move to a different state and get a new job. I just don’t know if what I have/will have will be enough to get a decent job. Honestly if I make about the same that’s fine as I make decent money but I also know I’m underpaid for my role, my boss has even said they underpay me.
