Help with grandfather’s hand-me-downs /u/DeathBySporke /r/malefashionadvice

So to put some of the emotional questions out of the way, my grandfather died 4 years ago, and I am past the grieving process. He had these old pearl-snap denim work shirts with his company on the left breast and his name on the right, above the pocket.

I initially held on to his old work shirts because of the sentimental value, but still have them because I quite like denim. I have yet to wear these shirts out since I feel awkward with them having his name on them, but I would like to try. I’m still a little unsure though.

I’m not nearly as emotionally attached to these shirts as I was before, I just want to try wearing them as I like the way they look. My question is would it be awkward/weird to wear my grandpas old work shirt with his name written on them?
