Hey all, I am currently running a homebrew 5e game that has lasted over the past 8 or 9 months. I have a set group of players who are all pretty fun to play with when things are good. However, I have one player (our wizard) who gets upset whenever I: make a ruling against her, don’t align the story exactly with her idea of what the story was, bring her lower than half her HP, or tell her the spell she cast doesn’t work the way she thinks it does.
This obviously is annoying but has also lead to right before the bbeg fight, where she told everyone that I made the bbeg broken and that there is no point in fighting him in anyway. That they should cut their losses and just give up. (This is before they even saw him.)
The fight has started and everything is going fine, but I find myself pulling my punches on attacks against the.
Dm’s, what should I do?
