I know the Steam Deck has been around since 2022 that’s 3 years now, I know the system can lack a few things like playing Triple A games, on the other hand people like myself are better off with something else like a Steam Machine you can also add a Linux distro or Steam OS like what it is on the Steam Deck, it’s basically just like that but the Steam Machine is a more better option for me, also it’s optional if you want to put windows on it, if you wanted to, really when it comes down to it I think I prefer to use Steam OS on a Steam Machine, I do have a Steam Deck, I don’t really use it a lot unless it’s travelling or maybe sometimes play it in bed, then again I worry about dropping to sleep halfway through the game & forget to turn off the Steam Deck during nights, I do like the concept of the Steam Deck, rather have something else that’s much better like a Steam Machine, up to Valve & Gabe Newell to have a better solution to Steam Machines in the future as a second version. Glad to see Steam Decks are doing well for the handhelds & everyone seems interested in them.
