This’ll be short, but it’s eating at me. I’ve played enough as a player to be confident enough to try dm-ing a short 8 or 9 session long saga. My story-telling can get dark at times, so I made a lil consent sheet for topics. A friend of a friend joined, and they said the didn’t want SA in the story at all, not even implied. I found that reasonable.
Bit later, party was trying to sneak into a manor, and previously mentioned friend of a friend used a homebrew ability they had that was similar to detective mode from the batman arkham series to try and see ways to sneak in. I decided to outline some potential opportunities for them to sneak in. The first was a guard and a maid abandoning their posts to get frisky, leaving a room unwatched. I described what was happening, a male figure picking up a female one and carrying her out of the room, leaving it empty.
Before I could elaborate, they got up without a word and left. Ghosted and blocked me. I asked the party, the ones that have responded back say they didn’t get an SA vibe. Thoughts?
