I mean a monster that “lures” the heroes to his doom.
I know about mimics, but I was thinking more of something of a magical nature, and maybe even the exact “flap” (illicium) that shines to lure the players. Maybe some kind of illusion (Hypnotic Pattern?)
Is there already some momnster like that? or can someone give me ideas to hombrew one?
