My work recently had our Christmas party and secret Santa, and for my gift suggestion I had a Steam gift card. And the person who had me had to go to like 12 different stores just to find one. He wanted to get me a $50 card but $20 was the most he could find. I couldn’t believe it was so hard for him to find because Steam cards are like always about sold at any big box store. But when I went to my local Walmart I checked out the gift cards and there were actually no Steam gift cards which was just baffling. I don’t think it was because of the Christmas rush because there wasn’t an empty spot on the card stands where they could have been. I don’t know if it’s just a Canada thing since I live in Canada, or if it’s happening all over. Has anyone else noticed a lack of Steam gift cards in stores?
