I’ve been with this girl for about 3 months now, and she’s very special to me. We’re in that stage where we can’t keep our hands off of each other, and naturally, sex comes with that. I’m always making sure she’s comfortable and feels safe, considering her past sexual trauma. I won’t go into too many details here because it is very private, but she was raped by multiple of her past boyfriends. In many ways, she’s still coping with that, and I’m always very patient with her. We have sex a lot, and she’s always safe and comfortable, and I check in with her frequently. She cannot stress enough that she feels safe and comfortable with me.

Onto our main issue. When we first started having sex, she let me go down on her, which we both really enjoyed. This would happen every time we had sex for probably the next month and a half, until she started turning me down. I don’t push her about it, and I’m fine that she doesn’t let me. I’m very clear that she doesn’t need a reason why and she can just say no, but she doesn’t have a reason anyway. She can’t figure out why it’s suddenly made her uncomfortable, and neither can I. She stresses that it’s not something I did. It bothers her that she doesn’t fully understand why, so if anyone knows, that would be great.
