I’m in my late 20s now and live with my partner, but I spent most of my 20s living on my dads property.
I was able to save and invest well over 200k from cheap rent, was able to spend more time with family, and since i work in trades I was able to help out with the property and house renovations.
Sure, I might have missed out on some experiences but i was able to do lots of travelling which made up for it.
I was getting constantly roasted for living with family, especially by women and when I was dating. I’m well ahead of my peers now and the more I look back the happier I am that I went that route.
