I want to play an ice themed sorcerer or cryomancer as a player in my friends campaign tomorrow! I am a beginner player and I already saw some homebrew subclasses online but I don’t know if they are still compatible with the new update. Everyone will be using dndbeyond so each character has the new stats, but I want to build mine around dndbeyond since it doesn’t have a frost subclass.
Could someone help or point me to the right direction to integrate a subclass with the new edition? If you have other advice like what to improve or use point on feel free to give!
(I want to be a human sorceror, we start at level 5)
