Hello! Let’s get to the point.

What happened?

Atlassian, creators of Jira, discontinued support for Jira Server in 2024. It’s a software that is used by Mojang to track bug reports.

In light of this, Mojang will transfer all of the info from Mojira Server to Mojira Cloud ON THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2025.

What does this mean for players?

If you frequently report bugs and want to migrate your account with all your bug reports to Mojira Cloud you have the time to do this BEFORE JANUARY 31st 2025.

How I can migrate my Mojira account?

If you have old Mojira account, you’ll get an email with an opt-in form, asking for your permission to migrate your account – and your submitted bugs – over to the new Mojira Cloud.

The email will give you the choice between the following options:

  • Yes, I consent to the transfer of both my account and my bugs.
  • Yes, I consent to the transfer of only my bugs and associated personal data. My account will not be transferred.
  • No, I do not consent to any transfer of personal information. My bugs will still transfer, but personal data will be removed.

Mojang can’t migrate your account without your permission

What if I will not transfer my Mojira account?

You’ll still be able to create a new Mojira account and report bugs but you will not have access to your reports and info from your old account.

What will happen to the bug reports of non-migrated accounts?

Nothing. They will transfer but without any personal data.

Where can I find more info?
