Decision of the FUTURE. /u/West-Buy1291 Python Education

Hello guys I’m from Romania, so I’ll be direct, I am already in college at civil engineering my last year. I went there because someone suggest that I should go, even though I wanted to go to programming( i know i should’ve went to where i like). I’m not that good at civil engineering but I’m not that bad either( i will still graduate and get the diploma for civil engineering) , but I like coding and how you can create stuff. So my question is: should I start learning code? how long would it take me?
If there are people that are in my situation, a similar one or not at all in my situation, feel free to comment and give me some advice.
