Sly Cooper, Jak, Ratchet and Clank, Psychonauts (even though not a ps exclusiv. These games were my childhood and I wish this style would make a comeback. After playing Rift Apart and Psychonauts 2 on PC, ive been trying to find these older games. However I still want something fresh, so anyone have any recommendations of a newer game?
Here are the elements I’m looking for: 3d platformer Action-adventure Relatively cartoons style Basic combat system that still has room for stylistic choice and upgrades Exploration Hubs connecting levels/missions (open world is fine, but definitely not linear vibes)
I’ve play Kena Bridge of Spirits which scratched that itch pretty well even if more serious in tone, and I gave Akimbot a try, but found it too linear to enjoy. I also got a Hat in Time and Pathless on my list of games to start, but im still hoping for ang good recommendations that I just haven’t stumbled across yet
