Hello all. Just recently built my first PC and a buddy added me to a family plan on Steam so that we could share a library.
The one restriction with the family plan is that we cannot both play the same game at the same time because it’s technically one copy.
If I wished to purchase my own copy of the game so that we could both play at the same time, what additional steps, if any, would I need to take? Would I need to toggle out of something in the family plan? Or would Steam just know that it’s a second copy and let me play it so that all I need to do is purchase the game?
Thanks for any help in advance
