Heard the term and realized that in the bedroom I’ve been a simp. For years I’ve put my wife’s sexual needs above mine trying to please her. Early on I worked hard and she really enjoyed it. When it comes to me though I realize the reciprocation hasn’t been there. It’s made me resentful.
Communication has basically led to me learning that there is no desire to reciprocate. I feel as if I’ve truly expressed my needs and desires in a rational and calm way, even proposing some options and alternatives. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped.
Everybody says communication is key but that hasn’t worked. Frustrating for sure.
