With all the rhetoric about military force a certain subset of the US population seems to believe that America could just steamroll the entire world if they wanted.

Here in Germany people are saying we need to negotiate with Russia for cheap gas despite its obvious threat level to our allies and even us directly.

I just don’t get it, do people seriously not remember what it’s like to have millions of kids come home in boxes?
