Advice on removing ‘old’ smell from an Alpaca overcoat? /u/NoAimMassacre /r/malefashionadvice

Hello I just received an amazing Canali Coat, second hand. It looks incredible and I want to keep it, but the seller didn’t tell me it smelled ‘old’ you probably know the kind of smell I’m talking about, like ‘Ive been in your grandma’s closet for quite some time’ kind of smell.

Im a little sad the seller, who is clearly trusted on the website, didn’t tell me.

What can I do to make it go away? Its 70% alpaca 30% wool. Should I just give it to the pressing? Im not sure what to tell them as im new to this and I don’t want to ruin it.

Ive just seen a video with a guy saying I should spray it with Vodka..

I don’t want to damage it and I’d rather not return it.

I need your expert opinion guys.
