I ended up learning how to make acetic acid for dnd /u/idkanymoresmile DnD: Roll for Initiative!

Writing a oneshot for some friends at the moment and one npc has the medieval equivalent of weed killer (Oneshot is plant/horror themed). Half an hour later I realised I’d fully down the rabbit hole of, organic weed killer (vinegar can be used), the medieval availability of vinegar, how it’s made, and then how to distill it into glacial acetic acid. All to tell my players that the weed killer smells like strong vinegar. The things you look up for dnd 🤦‍♂️
