Cool ideas for a prosthetic arm? /u/iamhereforonething- DnD: Roll for Initiative!

My character recently lost his arm in battle and i was wondering how i could have his prosthetic arm be more personalized.

I want something that won’t be considered a weapon to be taken from him. Could it be something more organic but still functional as a prosthetic? Or something that interacts with his body in some way or with his blood or would that be considered a weapon again?

The other idea would be a mechanical prosthetic that he could potentially add stuff to later on, like a blade, but it would have to be something removable so the whole arm won’t be taken away.
