For me, it’s the sense of permanent progression. Everything you do builds towards something. The game is stable and Jagex does not like releasing big updates that significant nerf or buff things. But at the same time there is always fresh content. The economy in RS is probably one of the most reliable compared to any other MMO including WoW or even ARPGs like PoE.
